Support wise I absolutely cannot fault them, the course was thoroughly thought through well-presented and challenging enough that even seasoned canicrossers will need to stop and think through how, and why we do things.

I decided to do the Cani-Fit leader course as I want to bring canicross to a wider network, making it inclusive to all, regardless of level of fitness or type of dog. The leader class is online based, so ideal for people working full time, with busy schedules. Lindsay is on hand to help with questions, queries and to help throughout.

The course itself has so much information to take in, you think you know a lot about running with dogs if you've done it for 5 years. However the detail the course offers, from planning classes to hydrating your dog and picking the right locations to put classes on.

I would highly recommend the course for anyone running with dogs, wanting to start their own club or be a leader at Cani-Fit. The support as a leader is second to none, especially when starting out. Knowing there is a team behind you to ask advice, offer help and have your back is so reassuring.

As someone who has enjoyed canicrossing for a good number of years, I approached the course with a solid foundation. However, I was genuinely impressed by the depth and breadth of knowledge imparted.

I set up Formby Canicross social group in November 2023 because there wasn’t anything local to me. We have just over 40 members, and most of them are beginners. I wanted to offer beginner lessons to encourage them to attend our social runs and not just join the FB group!

The cani-fit leader course was perfect for this because it covered exactly what I needed. I get many questions on kit, and this was covered well in the course. I have my first beginners class on Sunday and it’s already oversubscribed so I’ll have to offer more classes. I’m confident now that I can encourage new people to the sport and help them enjoy canicross as much as I do.

Doing the Cani-fit Canicross coach course gave me an excellent foundation for Canicross coaching, combining the theory of the principles and practises of Canicross with the practical application of knowledge. It gave me the confidence to go forward and coach others as they are starting out in the sport. The modules were well organised and easy to follow, and it was useful to be able to learn at my own pace. Lindsay was always on hand to help or answer questions. I would highly recommend the course to anyone interested in canicross coaching.

The course is great as you can attend online, using your local knowledge of trails to film your progress. Course Design: accessible for all skill levels, ensuring my dog and my safety at all times, making sure it was fun too! Team: The staff were incredibly supportive, throughout the course offering aid and encouragement.

Community: A friendly, encouraging atmosphere. Educational: Very descriptive topics, with demonstration videos, including dog health, nutrition. Overall, this course was well organised and in-depth. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a comprehensive course on canicross.
